Hadewych Roelofsen was born in 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands in 1976.

After six months of taking a graphic design course at the Art College in Arnhem, the Netherlands, Hadewych decided to continue as a self-taught painter in 1998.
She uses oils and acrylics on canvas and panels of various sizes.
Hadewych's particularly colourful work is created directly on the canvas, like a spiritual riddle.
In her paintings, images are expressed in which dreams and reality are
juggling together, stimulating the imagination of the spectator.
Women, relationships and landscapes are among the themes in her paintings.

The titles of her work enrich the abstract symbolism of her work with her personal spirituality.
As well as quality, there is a high output of work.

In 2006, Hadwych also started working three-dimensionally, using wood, natural stone, ceramics and bronze. Among others, she makes sculptures
of fantasy heads and musicians. In 2010 she started to make silver jewelry. Now there is an extensive collection of hangers to be found on this site.
